Important clarification: the event is fully booked, but you can still sign up for the waiting list. You can express your preferences for workshops by using the 'comment' section. We will get back to you in case a spot can be offered. In that case, we will consider your workshop preferences, but if your preferred workshop is fully booked, we will place you in another workshop.
This is the registration form for the Democracy R&D Annual Conference 2023, taking place on 4 and 5 October 2023 in Copenhagen, Denmark, complemented by pre- and post-conference activities on 3 and 6 October.
The Annual Conference is primarily meant for members of Democracy R&D. The Conference Planning Team may exceptionally invite non-DRD members as conference guests/participants, following a proposal from DRD members.
In order to cover the costs of the conference, DRD members are asked to pay a participation fee of 1100 DKK (app. 148 EUR) for the entire conference and non-DRD members are asked to pay a fee of 2200 DKK for the entire conference or 1100 DKK for a day ticket. Can you make a donation in addition to paying for your ticket? That would be a great help. If you and your organisation are unable to finance your participation fee, you can request an OSF-funded ticket (i.e. a ticket which is paid for through a grant from the Open Society Foundations).
The data we collect are used solely for the purposes of this conference. Your full name, country of residence, pronouns and organisation (if any) are printed on a participant badge and included on a list of participants (if consented to).
The official period for requesting conference funding is over. If you still wish to request funding to cover conference-related costs, please write an email to Maarten de Groot (maartendegroot9@gmail.com).
